Connections

Do you ever feel like you meet someone for a reason?
Like it was written in the stars that your paths would cross...
And everything starts to make a little more sense?

The connections you can make with people are endless; you can connect as acquaintances brought together by proximity and necessity, as friends, as lovers, as friends and lovers at once, as coworkers, as business professionals, as project partners, as strangers, as anonymous virtual strangers... see? Endless.

So why is it that certain connections mean more and feel deeper than others? How can it be that when you meet someone, sometimes your connection is as weak as a fraying twist of rope while with others, it's as strong as a steel link chain?

It's hard not to wonder, when it happens by total chance that you meet someone and form a steel link chain between the two of you. When you connect beyond a comprehensible and logical reason, and when it has nothing to do with chemistry or romantic love. When the connection just manifests love in a pure and honest, non-self-serving form. Was it for a reason?

Would it be too far of a reach to think, perhaps, that the two of you were formed in the same star cluster long ago? And that the energy within you is drawn to each other because it is one and the same? Would that make no sense...
Or perfect sense?

At first glance this might seem like a stretch. It's okay to resist--smart, even. Take your time and digest your thoughts. You'll find a wealth of knowledge within yourself.

I've barely scratched the surface here. I've been diving to new depths and what I'm learning is astounding. My mind has been going places. I'm piecing the puzzle together.

         Question,
                    notice,
                            think,
                                  observe

And look inside yourself, my friends. Because answers lie within, and it is our job to realize it.

So open your mind with me.
